Business academy whose driving force is business development through brand building. Therefore, guided by learning “practice in practice”. It is an academy that, in the teaching of administration itself, found an opportunity to make it even more adherent to the set of disciplines under its responsibility, through the adoption of teaching cases.
Used for approximately a century in management training at US universities and characterized as reports of organizational life situations that are constructed to meet specific educational purposes, the teaching cases prepared by Academia de Marcas and worked with elementary and high school students from the business school throughout the entire school year explore the challenges of a brand as an instrument for learning the structural complexity of an organization. To this end, thought together with business, the proposed challenges are different for each year and grade, all of them covering a set of J&F’s own brands and, thus, reproducing in the classroom, among the groups, the reality of the solutions that the companies are constantly summoned to find.
Thus, three vectors are contemplated:
• Teaching – explored through the elaboration and resolution of teaching cases.
• Research – practiced in scientific productions aimed at building the academic authority of the J&F Institute business school as a business school.
• Extension – themes that complement activities in the classroom are addressed, such as a practical approach in the training of Business Players, qualification of the teaching staff and communication of Academia de Marcas with our stakeholders.
In internships conducted by this academy, students serve customers from the Flora or Seara business route, in the industrialized products and food service divisions, being, for this, closely monitored by field professors, who are present in their daily lives. in these consultations, guiding them so that they are able to achieve the best results.
The work in the field is also complemented by a series of training courses, especially developed for teams of interns and former students of the Germinare BUSINESS School who already occupy leadership positions in positions of supervisors and even sales managers.

Project created to promote ever greater integration between Germinare BUSINESS, Business Players and customers.
Academia de Marcas adopted the teaching case methodology for training Business Players in the curricular components it conducts. Through this methodology, Business Players are encouraged to play the role of brand managers for the JBS Group, facing the real challenges that they themselves experience.
Event in which the best proposals prepared by the students to respond to the challenge of the teaching case of each brand are directly presented to the executives of the J&F group.
