Commodity Academy

Academy of the business school focused on Commodities and adding value, in which the pillars of planning, administration, commercial and industrial production are worked with the students throughout their training. To this end, different methodologies are applied aimed at continuous improvement of processes and problem solutions, bringing these future Business Players closer to meatpacking operations, until they reach distribution centers and end customers, thus providing them with more consistent and accelerated knowledge and professional experience.

It is, therefore, a business academy whose objective is to unite the concepts of the natural sciences with practical knowledge arising from business experience, promoting the connection between phenomena and processes, always in search of the best results.

As part of student training, with the Summer/Winter Program, during the January and July vacations, all 8th and 9th grade Elementary School classes at the Germinare BUSINESS School travel to different JBS plants located in states of different regions of Brazil. In this period of 15 days, in addition to all the knowledge already acquired through the set of components of Academia Friboi, where, since the 6th year, they are always articulating knowledge through the inseparable relationship between theory and practice, students have the opportunity to experience, in fact, this knowledge directly in the context in which its maximum appropriation is effectively enhanced and carried out.

From the 1st year of high school onwards, students who chose to follow the accelerated path at Academia de Commodities begin a B2B sales internship with the field teacher, learning the entire sales routine and developing their commercial acumen. In the end, they can occupy leadership roles in coordination positions and even distribution center management.
